Nested retrospective case-control study (period 2014-2019) in Catalonia. It relies on sociodemographic, clinical and health care services use information from various administrative and clinical data registries of the Catalan public health system with a population of about 7.5 million insured.
A 12-month follow-up study of a cohort of persons with suicide attempt-recent suicide, in which clinical, neuropsychological and biomarker measurements in blood and hair are performed. It includes a nested case-control study to compare the outcomes of those patients who repeat the suicide attempt during the follow-up time with patients who do not and with healthy controls.
